The tiger reserves of India were set up in 1973 and are governed under Project Tiger, which is administered by the National Tiger Conservation Authority, Government of India. Tiger reserves were designated in 50 protected areas until 2018. Presently, there are 54 tiger reserves in India. About a few Tiger reserves :

Tadoba-Andheri Tiger Reserve

In the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, the Tadoba-Andheri Tiger Reserve is one of India’s preeminent reserves. Sundarban Mangrove

One of the most stunning natural areas in the world, Sundarban National Park is situated in the Bengal basin on the delta created by the Ganga and Padma. It takes its name from the unique variety of mangrove trees known as Sundari, which contribute significantly to the national park's floral richness. The 4624 square kilometer park is located in West Bengal, India  with a portion of it also in Bangladesh. An 885 square kilometer buffer zone surrounds the park. The park's central region is bordered by the rivers Matla in the west, Haribhanga in the east, and Netidhopani and Gosba in the north.
The "Royal Bengal Tigers," who are renowned around the world, are from Sundarban. It holds UNESCO World Heritage Site accreditation. In 1977, this forest was established as a key tiger reserve and wildlife sanctuary. On May 4, 1984, it was officially declared a national park.

The Sundarbans' distinctiveness draws visitors from all over the world. It is made up of the greatest mangrove vegetation in the world. Because of the core zone's natural river borders, Sundarban forest safaris are only conducted by boat along the zigzag canals.

Ranthambore National Park
